Princess offers nothing. From their web site:

Additional Reminders

Children under 3 are not permitted in the Youth Center unless accompanied by a parent at all times. Youth Center staff cannot administer medication, bottle-feed, change diapers, or provide meal service.* Private in-cabin babysitting is not available on any Princess ship. All children must be potty-trained.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are the only cruise lines that offer in room babysitting.

Do princess have any programmes for 1 yr olds. We are planning on taking our baby on a princess cruise later this year and would like maybe dinner on one or two nights without the baby, do they have a babysitting service?

Thanks.

Nothing is offered on Princess as previously stated. No private or group babysitting whatsoever. Most we have seen traveling with a young one under the age for the kids club usually travel with other family members and take turns watching the child/children.

Other cruise lines do offer private babysitting in the evening, Princess just is not one of them.

HAL has in room Babysitting although I am not sure of the age.

IMO your best bet would be CCL or DCL with a one year old.

We just went on Princess for the first time last year but with 3 kids we seemed to have one under 3 for a long time so we stayed with CCL when we traveled with our young kids, Although not our cruise line of choice they will give you a break for alone time. 10PM on sea days and until 5pm on port days. They change diapers bottle feed etc. I would not take a one year old on Princess but that is just my opinion. Best of luck.
