Pride Question

There are no bad locations on this ship.....lol.......we just returned Sunday and were in cabin 6155.....somewhat forward, but it's a beautiful ship.....the weather was cold until we got to Cobo, so we were glad to have taken warm clothes. Was nice and warm, until we left Cobo and was cold on the way back to Long Beach. Very rough seas, very fast ship.....made for a fun but bouncy ride.......from our balcony, we saw whales and dolphins several times......crew is the most friendly group of people that we have ever had contact with anywhere in our journeys throughout the world......enjoy your crusie.....it was our first, and can't wait to cruise again,

luv2travel - I'll be on the Pride in two weeks. Was the weather the second day any better than the first? Glad to hear about the whales - I missed them last year on the Spirit.

Yes, the weather got better. It was very cold on Sun, cold on Mon and started to warm up on Tue as we neared Cobo. Once at Cobo, it was smooth sailing and warm. Going back, as you pass Cobo, it turns cold on

Fri night and very cold on Sat....no waiting for lounge chairs on those dates.....dress warm with a hood for those days.....this ship really travels fast and at this time of year, the seas are very rough with white caps all the time.....even with all that (and see my senor frogs warning) the trip was great.....such a friendly crew....have a great cruise. this was our first and am now planning on our next.....:)

How about the Riviera deck, close to the front of the ship. How does that area seem to your folks that have cruised on the Pride before?

Thanks!

The only problem with the Riviera deck very far forward is you will hear when they drop the anchor in Cabo. Also, the ride coming back north can be a bit rough and you will feel the motion more the closer to the front you are.
