Auto debit gratuity on Galaxy

Does Celebrity auto debit the gratuities on account? We are going to Galaxy soon and don't want to carry too much cash. Do we also add gratuity on account when dine at specialty restaurants?

Yes, GALAXY has the option of gratuities on your shipboard account.

 

The only specialty restaurant that charges on GALAXY is the alternate casual dining in the evening at the Oasis. I think it is $2 pp.

 

For cash, you can get up to $2,000 per day charged to your shipboard account at the casino.

It's not automatic, but you can opt in.

They will send out a form during the cruise, with a deadline for returning a few days before the end of the cruise, to have your tips charged to your on board account. In order to sign up you have to tip a minimum of the recommended amounts. You can increase this by a set amount per recipient, but not decrease any amounts.

 

There is no specialty restaurant on the Galaxy.
