On a 14 night cruise, how many formal nights, informal nights and casual nights are there?

For men on the informal nights, do most men adhere to the dress code, mainly wearing a sport jacket with tie?

Sometimes there will be a last minute change by the on-board staff.

 

Almost all men wear a jacket on informal nights but a good percentage don't wear ties. For some reason the web site and pre-cruise info all say jacket and tie for informal, but the on-board guides usually only say jacket.

Celebrity's website lists the norm. However we just did a back to back on the Millennium with 2 fourteen night cruises - on the first one in the Med with a lot of port days we had 3 formal, 5 informal, and 6 casual; while on the transatlantic with over half the 14 days sea days we had 3 formal, 3 informal and 8 casual. So it is really dependent on the cruise as to whether they adhere to the website and documents published schedule.
