With Easter falling early in 2005, when is your school/college Spring Break in 2005?

Our kids our out of school 3/25 - 4/3/05.

Schools in NYC and some suburbs are off the last week of April.

We are out the first week of April.

Our kids are out 4/18 - 4/22.

 

(If most other schools are out the following week, I wonder if it's worth looking at booking a cruise?:D )

In Prince William County, VA (about 30 miles South of DC) schools are closed from 3/21 to 3/25. That assumes that they don't cancel or reduce Spring Break for extra snow days....

Spring break in our community is March 24-April 3.

I can pretty much guarantee that all of March and all of April will have some schools in spring break. It doesn't matter when Easter falls since not all schools take that into consideration when they schedule spring break.

Spring Break for Jefferson County Schools in Colorado will be March 21-28. This is the first time I can remember it being the week before Easter. I think it's because Easter is unusually early next year. If you're going to cruise in March or April plan on Spring Breakers being part of your group.

Our kids' school will be off starting on Good Friday, March 25, back to school on Monday, April 4. Small private school near Chicago.

CrockettMan - Easter 2005 is on March 27, so the Jeffco. Spring Break is over Easter. (I'm from Colorado). Spring Break typically - each year, regardless of Easter or Passover, runs from late Feb. to late April.

I am a Colorado native, (kidnapped to Texas). Boy do I miss it this time of year! I am originally from Denver/Littleton. Went to college in CSU.

The only advantage----- I can drive to the port in Galveston!!!!

Most MN Colleges are week of March 13th, however, some will be the following week.

 

 

It looks like the week of the 20th and 27th will be VERY busy with littler kids on the ship as thats when most elementry spring breaks are around the US that i have seen on here.

 

3 other Firefighters and I from Minnesota will be on the Mariner over our spring break!

We live in South Florida and my husband and I are cruising with our daughter and her friend (ages 19) on the Navigator for their spring break on 3/12/05. Anyone else on that sailing? They both attend different colleges in Florida.

March 7 to the 13th, 2005 here in Texas for regular schools, not sure about the college schedules.

3 states for the most part in New England have 4/18 - 22 off and at least 1 state has the week after off.

Our town's schools are off the week of March 28 but neighboring towns are either the week before or the week after. Hard to coordinate a trip with area friends so we moved the summer time instead!

we are from long island, ny and we have the week of the 24th of april off. we will be on the aos that week and can't wait!! the only vacation time we have near easter is holy thursday and good friday. the kids return back to school on the monday after easter.

We are in central Florida waiting for our next hurricane. Our spring break was changed! So I had to reschedule our cruise for a week later. We are now going on the Mariner on March 20. We were supposed to go to Western Carib now we are going to Eastern carib. Oh well!
