Virus

I am wondering if there is a virus on this site.

 

When I try to to type, the cursor does not advance properly at times, causing me to rte like sihtiw (*write like this) if I do not manually correct it.

 

This is the only site where this happens.

 

Any ideas?

I don't think it is a virus. I have typed this as fast as I can with no problem. It does however take an age on this site, more than others, to actually post the message.

 

The problem is more likely at your end with another program that is disrupting your type-ahead buffer. Are you using a wired or a wirelss keyboard? If wireless that could be the problem.

On my laptop, and this happened on more than one, I get this problem but more usually it would be

 

writise like th

 

A quick Ctrl-Z and start over usually fixes it. Essentially the cursor has jumped back to the begining of a line of some such.
