Watermanfunari Posted September 23, 2004 #27 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Hi, I just wanted to ask you a question. What time should I tell the limo driver to pick us up at the pier on the way home. Did the ship arrive at 10Am on time? And what time did you get off the ship? I don't want to tell him to early so he charges us extra for the wait but I don't want to sit around waiting for him either. So just let me know, I want to call the limo place back ASAP. Thanks Sue NCL 10/10/04 PRINCESS DAWN 2/8/
DivaG Posted September 24, 2004 Author #28 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Hi, I just wanted to ask you a question. What time should I tell the limo driver to pick us up at the pier on the way home. Did the ship arrive at 10Am on time? And what time did you get off the ship? ThanksSue We arrived right on schedule - 10 AM. There is a "color" system that is used for disembarkment. Our color was the last called - which meant that we could relax. We were out of the termination about 12:15. The disembarkment goes very very very smoothly. Their goal is to have everyone off in 2 hours and it worked. ;) G
zyezye Posted September 24, 2004 #29 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Hi , I'm so relieved to hear they have an organized way to disembark! From past posts I had read, it was a nightmare. Is this color thing a new thing? Bobbi
SailorsMate Posted September 25, 2004 #30 Share Posted September 25, 2004 Last time I was on the Dawn it was held in the Venetian dining room on Monday afternoon-- Note- I thought the stuff LOOKED a lot better that it tasted- I was recently on the Crown and their baked goods and pastries were far superior..
