What do you recommend, the Russian Ballet or folklore music program?

If you love ballet, I am sure it would be excellent. However, we choose the folk show and thoroughly enjoyed it. Champagne and cavier were served at intermission - impressive!:)

We had no choice as the ballet season ended the day before we arrived. Not expecting much from the folk show, were were blown away by the professionalism, costumes, staging and sound. The Nocholas theater was a bit tired looking, but the show was excellent. We went directly to the theater for the early show after a canal ride rather than returning to the ship.

What do you recommend, the Russian Ballet or folklore music program?

 

For those visiting St. Petersburg this summer, it will not be known for a couple months on whether the ballet or opera will be offered at certain theatres there each night. Those program options are not posted yet. Glad to hear the folk program was so good.
