hubofhockey Posted February 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2008 They could be the same or they could be different. It depends on the time of the year and, of course, the ship.
DiveCruiser Posted February 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2008 If you are in a different time zone it could be different. If you book the excursion through the ship don't worry. If you booked this off the ship they normially know when they dock. Bob
truecruiser Posted February 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2008 i think very few itineraries change ship's time. if you are venturing into a diff time zone, confirm ship's time with the purser's desk or CD at the excursion talks prior to arriving in port. Carnival Liberty, on the 6-day western changed ship's time to island time and then back on last sea day. Islands did not use daylight savings time while the ship did. For 2008, if you're cruising between March 9 and November 2, you should just pay attention to ship's CD and Carnival Capers to be sure.
