Alaska is like nowhere on earth - the scenery is just beautiful! We entered Glacier Bay on 18/5/08 on Carnival Spirit in heavy mist. It was freezing cold and this only added to our disappointment as we thought that we would not be able to see the Glaciers. Then as we approached the Glaciers, the mist/cloud started to lift. It turned into the most memorable day!

Since my Feb post on this thread I have gone back to Alaska last month and now have posted my Alaska 2008 photos on my photo website: www.jprphotos.com We were on the June 13th sailing on the Celebrity Millenium and did a 5 day land tour after the cruise. I had a fantastic trip and I am looking forward to the next time I return to Alaska. In addition to Alaska I have photos from many different cruises posted there as well. I hope you enjoy them.

Very nice photos! I am green with envy that Denali took off its hat for you. Did you know that only 35% of the visitors ever see the mountain without clouds?
