VickieLynn Posted February 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2008 We will be sailing on the Queen Victoria and stopping in France, Amsterdam and Belgium. Does anyone have any information on renting motorcycles or scooters while in port?

pcur Posted February 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2008 I'm not trying to rain on your parade, because DH and I rented many, many scooters and mini-mokes on our Caribbean cruises, but are you SURE you want to ride a motorcycle in European traffic? Amsterdam is a bicycle city, and the HOHO canal boat will take you all over. Parking is at a SERIOUS shortage there, too. I would not want to ride a motorcycle on the trip to Paris (if that's where you're going), either. What time of year are you going? Make sure you check the weather, because Amsterdam and Belgium are pretty wet climates, too. Having said that: wear helmets and enjoy!!!
