How early can you board ?

I'm not sure what the policy is, however every cruise we have done has been out of San Juan, and we have always stayed the night before the cruise. We have got in line prior to noon, and always on the ship by 1pm. One year we were even the first ones on, cool for the kids to say that. I know our room wasn't ready one time, but chill out on the lido deck, get your first drink, grab some pizza and start your vacation. Hope this helps a bit.

We are crazy people who enjoy getting to the ship very early (9:00'ish) and waiting in line. The porters usually start taking luggage by 10:00.

We have often been the first ones at the ship, which was around 11:30, our first drink was in hand by 11:35, and all was good in the world.

Sounds good to me ~ I love that first DOD! I was a little worried that since it didn't sail until 10:00 that we wouldn't be able to even board until 5:00 or so and wasn't sure what to do with the luggage. Sounds like there isn't anything to worry about though :)
