Where is the best place - or beach (St. Martin/St. Thomas/Cococay) - to rent jet skis to be rode without a guide? The costs? Any information is helpful and appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Hi - we just returned off of Mariner last week (great ship, you will have a blast) and rented jet skis right in Great Bay in St. Maarten. We rented them through http://www.saint-martin-activities.com. You go to the Holland House Hotel to pick them up. It is very easy to find. Take the water taxi to the downtown pier and when you come off the taxi, walk along the boardwalk to your right (back towards the cruise ships). You will come to the Holland House and the people are great. They will get you set up, collect your payment (cash only) and show you how to use the jet skis. They were very easy to use. You will have the entire bay to use, although they recommend you go far away from the water taxi traffic. It was $129 for a 1/2 hour for 3 people to have our own jet skis. Let me know if you have any other questions. traic73@yahoo.com.

we were in st martin a week ago and rented jet ski at Orient beach they were 40 per half hour after neg.! it was good but a little to wavy. a few years ago we rented in great stirrup cay i think it was called it was NCL private island and was right next to RCCL coco cay and it was awsome. we rode over to the coco cay area. it was by far the best jetskiing we have done. we have also rented in grand cayman on 18 mile beach and it was similar to Orient beach fun but a little to rough. good luck

We were in St.martin, a couple of months ago, and we did the Little Divi excursion. When we were there to right facing the water there was a gentelman renting jetskis. Not within the resorts grounds. We gave him a $100.00 bill and said 4 jetskis for 45 minutes and he jumped on it. It was great..
