Serenade Balcony

Anyone know if balcony separator between rooms can be opened on Serenade.

Our friends are next to us would like access.

We had an aft balcony with friends next to us. I know the divider could not be taken down in these rooms, and I don't think they can on the side balconies, but not sure.

They cannot be "taken down", but may be "opened" to one side if you can get permission from the pursers desk and have the steward do it. More and more, now, this request is being denied.

 

We also have a stateroom next to our parents next week. Have not decided if we are going to have the divider opened. Also, once the divider is opened, it cannot be closed. It will open to one side or another and may block the window or door of your stateroom.

If its not to much trouble, would you check if veranda door can be opened on the serenade.I would think there's access to the outside room door when open.
