pool toys: noodles?

Thinking about taking one for my 4 year old son to use in the ship's pool. It's his all time favourite pool toy and he can swim pretty good with it tied around his belly.

 

What about sponge like frisbees and balls?

 

What kind of pool toys have you seen on cruises?

 

We leave in 2 weeks on 11 nighter with 4 sea days! Will be spending lots of time by the pool.

Not trying to be mean but you have listed several recent cruises... did you notice these kinds of toys before?

The pools are not that big and I have never in 17 cruises seen a pool noodle or a frisbee or anything like that. I have seen inflatable toys that kids wear around their middle to help them float and I have seen the inflatible arm bands that also help them float. I have not seen any other type of pool games - with the exception of what the activities staff do.

I don't think the pools are large enough to accomodate these toys. I'd stick to a pair of water wings. They pack small and will keep your child afloat.

Honestly I haven't ever seen pool toys, other than floaties (water wings).

I saw noodles on our last cruise, interestingly enough they were used by an adult. He also carried them on tender rides. Evidently on Princess there is no rule against them.

We haven't seen any pool toys on the ship. I did bring rings for the beach. Alot of kids do wear goggles.
