I don't know what ship you will be on or if they will offer this excursion, but last year on the Celebrity Mercury my husband and I did the Mexican Cooking Experience in Peurto Vallarta and had a blast. They took us on a city tour by bus and then to a Horse Ranch that has a nice restaurant by a creek. There we made and pressed our own tortillas, fresh salsa and guacamole and chile relenjos. Then we got to eat them. They also give you a complimentary margarita, although they get stronger the more you order :D
