What is the best airline for flight from Heathrow....

I need to fly from London Heathrow to Innsbruck, Austria, return.

 

Could someone please help with suggestions for the best airline. I would prefer non-stop, and good fares, but especially need safety and reliability!!

Hi,

 

Lufthansa and Austrian will probably be the best bets, although I believe none of them fly non-stop.

Lufthansa will most likely have a stop in Frankfurt or Munic, Austrian in Vienna.

They are both part of the StarAlliance and will most likely be codesharing.

Vienna is probably be easier to transfer at, the others are much bigger and busier.

It's a good rule of thumb to choose the airline best familiar with your destination (yes, I know there are exceptions). Because they are most familiar with and best known at the destination and you are most familiar with your home airport.

So, choose Austrian Airlines. I would.

Also, your vacation to Austria starts the moment you walk on board and ends when you leave the plane on the return flight.
