dancing Posted February 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Thinking of taking a video camera on a 12 night Med cruise. Has anyone done this and was it worth taking? Did you have any problems going through customs and check points?
Kudos2Fly Posted February 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Why would it be a problem? We did a 14 day land tour of Italy. I took my Canon 20D with all my equipment and my husband had his video camera.. And we carried all that through customs and airport with out a problem. I will NOT check my camera... You shouldn't have a problem... Now weather its worth it. It's up to you... It would be worth it to me to have it. But then again I don't leave my camera home for any of your major trips. Some people could care less about taking pictures. But thats not me.
jpmaximus Posted February 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2008 For me i have to bring my camcorder. I like to film atleast 4 hours of my trip so i can play it back when i get home and "relive" the experience.
cruisinbuddy Posted February 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Shouldn't be a problem. I'm just back from a cruise and all my camera gear was in a back pack, made for camera gear and it was never checked. I did have my video camera in it too.
