Riverside, Grande or Gallery One

Can't decide between these 3. Have reservations March 22 at Gallery One post cruise but like having lots of shops, restaurants, nightlife within walking distance as we won't have a vehicle for 5 of us and we may go different directions. We plan on taking the water taxi so it could probably take us to SE 17th or Las Olas areas. Opinions on hotels and if the areas around them are safe at night would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any input.

That was my first choice also, thanks for the input. Do you have an opinion on the Hyatt Place Plantation for precruise.

Nowhere near the same league as The Riverside and the shopping and dining options pale compared to Las Olas.

The Hyatt Place on 17th Street would be a much better location (and cheaper taxi ride to the port) than the one in Plantation and has really great shopping and dining options that are walkable.

The Hyatt Place in Plantation is about 11 miles from port versus less than one from Hyatt Place on 17th Street and around four from The Riverside.

My pick? The Riverside.
