Walk to beach in Cabo

quite long. There is a quick and inexpensive water taxi that can pop you over there. Others should be able to answer in more detail, as we did not do it ourselves. The tender pier where you are dropped is on the far side of a very large marina, which you would have to circumnavigate. It is doable, but quite a walk.

If you have 2 legs and are able, it's an easy walk on the street. If you want to take a short cut, follow the Marina around and then cut down by the boat launching ramp. From there, you can just walk down Medano to where the restaurants and hotels are situated. Will be walking it in a few weeks with kids!!!! After a few margaritas though, you might want to take a water taxi back :).

Yes, Medano beach is the only swimable beach that is right in Cabo. There are plenty of activiites and beach bars/restaurants that you can sit at as long as you are eating/drinking.

Look at some of the previous threads (search feature is not working) for a ton of recent info on this subject.

Have fun!:)

Yes you can swim at "Lovers Beach". The other side is called Divorce Beach (Pacific Ocean side). There is NO SWIMMING allowed on the Pacific Ocean side (Divorce Beach) due to very dangerous rip currents.

Be aware that the ocean water in the Cabo is pretty cold right now. Figure mid to low 60's. To cold for most to swim in. The water does warm up from July-November.

Have a great cruise.

SDPadreFan, I see You went on the Elation in Oct. 07. We are scheduled to go on Elation in Oct. 08. I was wondering on the temps at this time of year, and what to do in Cabo?

Thanks,
