bcscot Posted March 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Has anyone heard of, or experienced, the Highland Voyages 'Eala Bhan'. She is a 50 ton (yes, fifty ton) converted traditional Scottish herring drifter, doing short cruises on the Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness & the Scottish coast, with her compliment of 12 passengers. The 'cruise experience' seems fairly basic but the prices do not seem too bad for a small ship cruise. We had wondered about doing a trip on this little vessel as our next cruise, following a crossing on the QM2! Well, 150,000 tons to 50 tons, I always was a man of extremes!:) See www.highlandvoyages.co.uk
