Poum, NC - What to do ??

Hi - How do you suggest we spend our day in Poum ???

 

We try to avoid ship's tours.

 

Any ideas??

Sandy some of the CC'ers may know Poum better as Emerald Bay.... thats what P.O Australia call it.......here's there link to shore tours hope it helps.... cheers shiona

Aside from the shore tours to the village at Poum, there's not a lot to do at the Poum/Emerald Bay/Divine Island stop........

 

The twice we'v been there they've put on a bbq on the beach. The swimming thers is good.

 

If you don't do the shore tours, you can't go to Poum village independantly. The tenders to Poum only take shore tour ticket holders. All other passengers can go to Divine Island (where the ship anchors).

Has anyone actually done the P & O tours @ Poum?

If so are they worth it?
