Turkish Visa

I will cruising to Turkey this year and I understand that Turkey requires a Visa. The ship will provide a visa if going on a ship excursion. Since I will be doing a private excursion, I am looking for information on where to obtain a Turkish visa.

You will not need to obtain your own; the ship does this for everyone, private or cruise line sponsored

kdowneymd is correct. No cruise ship passenger in transit requires a Turkish visa. Ship or private excursion makes no difference. We did 2 private excursions in Turkey within the past year.

You will only need a visa if you plan to stay in Turkey pre or post cruise.
