Hi there, We are going on the Jewel to the Caribbean on Nov 14th, can anyone tell me the time difference getting off the ship in a tendered port as opposed to a non tendered port.

Tender means that you take a small boat from the ship to the shore (pier). If you are on an excursion booked through the ship they seem to take care of getting you a spot on the tender (at least that was our experience on the Jewel in February). Otherwise you have to get a ticket and that tells you what time you can catch the boat to shore.

"Non-tendered" ports are easy - you just walk off onto the shore.

have a great cruise
