Trips/Tour Operators Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend any trips or tour operators we could organise?

We (6 of us) were in Bonaire last week. We booked a tour through Archie Tours and Transport. Our 2 1/2 -3 hour tour was great. Cost $25 per person. Contact Sue Felix at achietoursbonaire@yahoo.com. She returns emails promptly.

Where did you find them, on the peir? There is no website.

We submited a request to Tropical Travel Bonaire http://www.tropicaltravelbonaire.com/test/excursions.html

They referred my email to Sue. They have been doing tours for 30 years but are looking to go independent. They are in the process of developing a web site. Most of the big tour groups are contracted to the cruise ships in Bonaire.

Our ship doesnt get into Bonaire until 11 am ship time and most of the private tours i see start earlier

 

Are there any that start around noon or 1 for about 3 hours??

Rent a car for the day. Ask for a map the island is not that big. ask the car place about these. The donkey sancuary is near the airport, follow the signs. Going South, you will pass what seems to look like mountains of snow, that would be the salt mine, further you will find the white and red slave huts and the old light house. Stop at pink beach it is pink sand. On the windard side ask to find the caves. How to get to lac bay. There is a statue on the top of a hill the over looks alot of the leeward side. 3 - 4 hr trip.

If you have kids (2 - 100) Oh Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DW always gets me to go each year and I due reluctantly but have a good time anyways.
