does anyone have any menu's especially canaries cruise? were due to sail on the ventura in august , also do they change for dfferent cruises? and room service menu's ? thanks in advance

CAPTAINS GALA DINNER

The first formal night, usually the 2nd night on my Canaries cruise

Scottish smoked salmon with new potato and caper berry salad

Hot asparagus mousse with asparagus spears in a butter sauce

Goats cheese and spring onion parfait with oat cakes

Cream of pumpkin soup with cream and ciabatta croutons

chicken and sweetcorn soup

Champagne sorbet

**********************************************************

Glazed lobster thermidor with saffron rice

Fillet of beef with red onion marmalade with porcini mash and pink peppercorn sauce

Duck with a grand marnier and orange sauce

Roast venison with juniper berry sauce and fondant potato

mushroom leek and pine nut pancakes with a glazed watercress and gruyere cheese sauce

All served with cauliflower cheese, spinach, delmonico potaotes

And if you aren't full

Hot chocolate fondant with white chocolate sauce served with fudge ice cream

Selection of lemon miniture desserts

Selection of ice cream with sauces

Comport of apricot in a sangria syrup

The menus are generally the same from cruise to cruise. I believe they cycle at up to 30 days, buteset at 1 for the start of cruises. I know this as I invaribly have the same fish course as a starter on the first night, duriing the first half of this decade.

Yes thats true DK, I was going to comment on that in my last post but didn't. it is irrelevant which cruise you are on or even which ship really, it seems all menus at one time are the same on all pando ships where ever they are sailing.

Always available every evning

Ceasar Salad

Grilled chicken breast with mushrooms and tomato

Grilled or poached supreme of salmon with lemon

grilled sirloin steak with mushrooms and tomato

 

french fries, side salad, green peas, new potaotes...

There are also several alternative dining venues such as the White Room if you fancy a change for one or two evenings.
