How is this beach and what would be the cheapest way to get to it, should we take the ship's excursion or grab a taxi? We will be in on April 8th on the Carnival Legend. We have 2 boys 5 and 9.

Thanks

As you reach the street from the tender dock they have mini buses that will take you to 7 mile beach. Ask to be let off at Sea Grape Beach, no charge to use the beach. They do have chairs and sun umbrellas for rent.

Food and drinks are available here along with clean restrooms and a outside shower.

As you enter the beach look down to your left and you will see a small playground for the kids.

Allow 30 min. to get back to the tender dock as the traffic gets heavy in the afternoon. Oh, the bus fare was about $5 ea way.

Pic of beach bar, scan through photo album for more beach pics. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2206292320082052728AHNtMj
