tekjr1 Posted March 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2008 Heard on another board that Radiance may be going for a yard/dry dock period soon. Has anyone heard similar? If so I am curious to know what type of work is she scheduled for. Tom
Sue L Posted March 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2008 All the Radiance class ships are having/had a new engine installed to make them more efficient while in port. They also seem to be doing cosmetic work at the same time.

tekjr1 Posted March 10, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2008 That answers my question. I have heard that there will be work done that attempts to alleviate the problems some have reported about raw sewage smell coming from the head. Thanks,
dpsp Posted March 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2008 We will be on the Radiance right before drydock (March 23rd till March 29th). Is there anything out of the ordinary that will happen to affect our cruise, or can we expect the same great service from RCL? Is there any pre drydock maintenance rhat might affect us ? I've heard they take out some of the furniture out (i.e. casino tables, slot machines) and strip some of the carpet and wall paper the last two days. :D;)
