I found the Legend on the Havensight-pier in St. Thomas, waiting for the new guests to start a Caribbean-cruise....

 

The big ship is "the Serenade of the Seas"

No--actually we had been dumped with about 50 other passengers at 9am on the curb in front of the major airline section of the St Thomas airport that was to open sometime after 12:30pm--no place to sit--no way to get in the passenger terminal--no people to help with baggage--no nothing. It was a mess, we were able to get behind one of the check in counters and get 3 wheel chairs for ladies injured in tender accidents--a few of the younger passengers tried to drag there baggage to the other end of the terminal where they might be able to get a cab. It's to long a story to tell here, but it was a mess and was the result of a Travel Manager who would not listen to people who had flown out of St Thomas in the past! For those dumped I was one of the "lucky" ones--I had 3 3/4 hours sitting on the scale at the United Airlines counter! Don
