snorkeling/beach in the morning... any recs for afternoon near port?

Hi! We are planning to go on Carnival's "Barrier Reef Snorkel at Turneffe with Beach Break" from 8:30am to noon, which departs directly from the ship. Trying to decide if we should tender into the port after lunch on the ship. Any ideas of what to do, from say 1:30-4 or so? Ship leaves at 5pm, not sure when the last tender will be. Is that enough time to get to the Belize City Zoo or the Baboon Sanctuary?
