Dollar Rent A Car In Halifax

Has anybody used Dollar for a rental car in Halifax? Will they pick you up and take you back to the ship? I believe that Thrifty rent a car is the same operation.

I have never used Dollar in Halifax. However, this past fall, I rented from Avis. It is located in the downtown area, a few blocks from the piers. The people who worked there were very friendly and professional. They also provided a pick-up and drop-off service, although I believe that the staff did that as a courtesy rather than as a company policy. Good luck.

We used enterprise in 2006 and they came to the dock to pick us up and then took us back to the dock. We also used them in Portland. Worked well for us. We are doing the same cruise this year in September and will probably use them again.
