Rondar Posted March 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Hello Cruisers: My first post and hope it is close to the right forum. We have bought the nice ship for a souveneer of all 3 ships we have been on so far. On our last cruise a couple months ago on the Carnival Victory, my wife and I were on St Maartin and went in some stores and wished we would have bought some local Caribbean wine. We were a little short on space and we were just kind of afraid to take it with us and have it broke on the way home somehow. We live in the great state of Kansas (yes we have been to Dorothy and Toto's house as a matter of fact :) ). Alas we have checked at liquor stores since we have been home in various towns and city's. Alas, no caribbean wine. Now, is it possible to order wine online somehow and have it shipped to us? I know we will take another cruise in the future but just wanted to ask if y'all knew of a way to get a bottle or two to try from the islands. Many thanks and sure glad I found this forum a couple days ago. It has been great reading it so far.
cruisinbuddy Posted March 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2008 The only thing I can think of is finding a "wine broker" or specialty wine store and ask them. Try the web, it could be worth your while.
