Not too far from the ship...great food, great margaritas, etc...

(Not Margaritaville..can do that at Cayman, etc..)

We always eat at Casa Denis. The chimichangas are great. It is located to the right of the town square. Go one block in and it is the second restraurant on the right. http://www.casadenis.com

Pancho's Backyard is also good.

I'm with Ski on this one. Casa Denis was one of our stop on our last trip, but there are too many good places in Coz. You might want to check www.cozumelinsider.com for a list of eateries. There are other threads on this board that cater to the hungry, also.

I agree. We were there about a month ago (our second visit to Casa Denise) and the food was as good as our first visit.:D

we had lunch at La candela Cafe, which is about 2 blocks off the main strip on avenida 10 and Norte 2 or 4?? Super awesome chips and sauce(can't really call it salsa). And they had cuban/mexican quisine. Very good. and flavorfull without being overly spicy.

I agree with the above posters, for a nice sit down place Casa is it. If want to eat on the fly im stopping by the curbside taco stand.

A little tid bit about Casa Denise that many folks don't know is that you can request a table in the courtyard (in the back). Very quiet and peaceful compared to the tables out front.......:)
