Laundry facilities

We will be sailing on the Journey at the end of the year - and counting the days :) , and looking at the deck plans do not see a "self service" laundry. somewhere on this site, I think I read = someone mentioning a laundry. Is there one - and if so where is it located.

Laundry is on Deck 7, Port side near the aft elevators. Worked fine for us on the Quest.

Maybe we went at the right times (like when a lot of folks are ashore) and never had any difficulties getting a machine.

 

Also remember the dryers work without feeding them coins. You will need two dollars in quarters for a wash, soap included.

Lucy, since we're doing a B2B, we'll need to use the facilities. What does it cost and do we need to have correct change, laundry detergeant, etc for the machines or is it provided?

Hi Garry:) ,

 

You will need 8 quarters for the washing machine. Supposedly you also need 8 quarters for the dryers as well, but on our cruise the dryers were working without paying for them, but just be prepared.

 

You can get the quarters either in the casino or at Guest Relations. As I recall we were in port on one of the days we did laundry and the casino was closed and we got the last few quarters from Guest Relations:eek:

 

The laundry detergent is provided for you. It is in a dispenser just above the machine and all you do is push a button. The washers and dryers have all the normal cycles. They also provide two ironing boards and two irons which were used alot.
