Freestyle Dining On Legend Of The Seas

Recommended Posts

freestyle dining is not offered on RCI ships fleet wide. It was only an experiment last fall on Freedom of the Seas. I don't know which ship is experimenting with it now. But in general, if you don't want to dress up on formal night you can eat in the WIndJammer for dinner. They dim the lights and put table cloths on the tables. The only difference is you get your own food. The menu will be similiar to what's in the main dining room, except no lobster in WJ (7 night or longer cruises). They'll even come around with drink refills for you or bar requests. The other thing is I've seen people not dressed anyway in the dining room on formal night. It just doesn't matter anymore. If you're comfortable being the only one at your table not dressed, then its OK. They will still draw the line at shorts in the DR at night though, formal night or not.

Is it possible to dine freestyle on Legend Of The Seas and NOT get dressed up formal at all? Also with Freestyle dining can you dine any time or are there set times you can get a table?

It's called the Windjammer.
