Sensation Info

I sailed the Sensation in the mid 90's and loved her.

Would appreciate any recent info on this great ship.

I am sailing her for my birthday (OCT 9)

I hear they added a bar to the lobby??? did i hear right?

do they have a sushi bar?

how are the bands?

Deb,which sailing are you on? We are sailing on the Oct.11th sailing.(my birthday!) If you are sailing on this date we have a thread over on the roll call board. :)

If you do a search with the word Sensation,you will find quite a few recent reviews.They seem mostly to be good experiences.We sailed on her a while ago,and loved it.We can not wait for this time.

They do not have the Sushi bar,but do have a deli.There is a new bar in the Atrium.I have read that it is very nice.I do not know about the bands. Hope that helps. Mariann

We were on the Sensation in August (between the hurricanes). The bands were great - Manila Music in Michelangelos and the band on the lido deck was great!! I think they were called Tropic Zone or something like that... watch for Eziekel the waiter on the lido deck... he is w o n d e r f u l and eye candy as well!!

We were on the Hurricane Frances sailing on Sensation...enjoyed the cruise a lot despite our delayed arrival. Check out the link to my review in my signature.

 

Yes, there is a Bar in the Empress deck lobby...didn't see one of those on Inspiration or Imagination. Not sure about the sushi...didn't see one, but I wasn't looking since I don't like sushi :eek: ! The calypso band by the pool was good...one of my favorite activities, laying by the pool listening to the band.
