International Cafe Open During Embarkation?

How early does the International Cafe open during embarkation? We'll be getting onboard the Crown fairly early and (if the dining room isn't open) we're thinking of grabbing a light lunch at the International Cafe.

I know I saw the lobby Bar area open on the Crown/Emerald but not sure about the actual bakery part. :)

On the Emerald in Jan. there was no food available at the International Cafe when we boarded the ship. We were able to buy our coffee cards, but I don't remember if coffee was available at that time.

On the Diamond Princess in Feb. 08, we were able to buy our coffee cards and have cappuccino on embarkation day.

On the Crown in October and no food at embarkation.....but make sure you do try the chicken salad when it is open......
