Ive heard that in Belize its better to book with the cruiseline because the tender takes a while. If you book with the cruiseline you get picked up right at the ship and go right to your water excursion. Is this true?

You do get off of the ship sooner if you book through the cruiseline and the plus side is they take you from the ship to the tour and then back to the ship so you don't have to tender into town.

With that being said, we have never been very late in getting off of the ship when we wanted to tender to port. The local companies have less crowded tours and if you research these boards you will see that you have very few instances where a tour missed the boat. I've seen thread after thread asking about missing the boat, but seldom see an answer from someone who missed the boat. You only see recommendations to take the ship tours. The call is entirely yours, but whatever you decide, I hope that you have as good a time as we did. We've never been on a bad cruise.:D
