In my opinion, this isn't a good choice for independent. It's a very busy,so so hotel, with endless buses loading and unloading. Congested lobby area and too many milling people waiting about.

 

 

Ugh. Do you have one you do recommend? We don't want to rent a car.

I frequently, will drive the road several times while I am in Denali Park, especally at dusk, I have seen some nice views of moose and bear.

much later interior Alaska, and then extended twilight. Never really gets dark. Earlier Inside Passage.
