When are Alaska 2009 cruises open for booking in US?

There are a group of us who are thinking of an Alaskan cruise in summer 2009.

 

I know the bookings are open in the US before the UK get to see them, does anyone know when booking opens in the States please?

I have heard late March to April!!!:D I can not wait either, looking to book an Alaskan cruise in summer of 2009 also.

I heard the middle of April. I've been hoping I can book my Alaska 2009 cruise while on the Emerald in a couple weeks. I guess if I can't book it I will at least get an open booking and use it right away;)

In previous years it has been anywhere from end of april through the end of May. Each year it seems to be a little different date. I personally just wait until someone comes on here and announces that the dates are set because someone always does.;)

How big does a "group" have to be to qualify as a group? (how many cabins?)

It looks like as few as 10 passengers (assuming double occupancy 5 cabins) could qualify as a group.

The email states....."Opening for Group Allocations

and Bookings April 9, 9 a.m. PST"

 

Princess will release this as they do any other. Agents will be able to block group space and it will be open for bookings.

 

There will also be a "new" past passenger discount offered on new bookings until September 30th.

Agents have the cruise schedules now. It's very similar to 2008, except that the Pacific Princess will handle the 14 day cruises instead of the Tahitian Princess.
