RC Cruiser interested in Celebrity

Celebrity Infinity is doing a nice South American cruise over the Christmas / New Year’s holidays in 2008 – we would like to do this in 2009. RC also has a similar itinerary (2008) but we are interested in trying something different. So I have a few questions:

Does anyone know when the Dec 2009 itineraries might be released, and whether Infinity is expected to return to SA?

How is the (Infinity) class of ships perceived overall – design, appearance, amenities, etc? (is this the one with propulsion problems?)

How do the Celebrity pax demographics differ from RC, if at all? I know it’s difficult to generalize about this but any insights would be helpful.

What other differences might an RC cruiser expect on Celebrity (or maybe point me to a recent comparison thread)?

Does Celebrity decorate its ships for the holidays?

A concierge class aft cabin looks like a good pick but I am sure I’d have some competition over those. ;) Are there other “preferred” cabins on this class of ship? Note that I don’t have unlimited funds. ;)
