Island Wings or Southeast Aviation

Which company is better to go with flying in the Misty Fjords Island wings or Southeast Aviation? Does it really matter? Also, we are planning on going fishing while we are in Ketchikan so I don't think we are going to have alot of time to walk around town. Are we going to miss alot by not doing this or would doing both excursions be better?

Thanks for any input.

I think you'll enjoy the excursions more than anything that is in town (just my opinion!) Both Island Wings and SE Aviation get great reviews, so I don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm partial to Island Wings since Michelle gave us the greatest adventure of our 3 weeks in AK! BUT, since I haven't flown with SE, I can't make a good judgement. I know Michelle already had several dates booked for this year when we were there last August. (The same may be true of SE Aviation - so I'd be checking with them soon!)

I have flown with both excellent companies several times and highly recommend each equally.

How long are you in port??? If only half a day, then you aren't going to have time to do both flying and fishing most likely.
