Dawn935 Posted March 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2008 I could really use advice on what to do in Nassau. We are considering either a day at the Wyndham for their beach & pool or going on the Blackbeard's Beach Break. We are looking for a stress-free day for the last full day of our cruise. Does this rule out the Carnival excursion? We've never cared much for the ship sponsored excursions, mainly because we don't like being crammed in busses or boats & herded around like elephants. Is the beach that much nicer that we will forget about all of that? Are there any other companies that would transport us to a beach on one of smaller islands? We aren't interested in a snorkeling tour - just some beach time. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks.
Marie51 Posted March 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2008 We booked the Blackbeards beach break for our cruise in May. I also am interested in anyone who has done it recently.
stsomewhere Posted March 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2008 we were at Blackbeards in Jan. The day we went it was very cold. Not even 60. We were on the Carnival Triumph, but, there were people from another Carnival ship, plus a Disney ship. So, it was a bit crowded. We were there a few years ago and it seemed much nicer.
