Need info on the spa on Diamond Princess

We are sailing from Alaska to Vancouver in May on the Diamond Princess.

There is a spa, but the information is a little vague about steam room

and such. They talk about paying a fee for the use of the spa.

 

Can someone who has recently sailed on this ship, send me a bit of

info on the facilities, like what there is and if you have to pay.

Although we haven't been on the Diamond looking at the deck layout for the ship on the Sun deck just aft of the Lap Pool you will find the free Steam Rooms and Saunas. There are both male and female areas. You just enter through the Lotus Spa. They have lockers, a dressing area and glassed in showers. Stop at the Lotus Spa desk and get a key for a locker if you need. The changing area will be stocked with towels so you don't need to haul any to the area. I don't believe the Diamond has the "pay for use" Thermal Spa but someone will jump in and correct me if that is incorrect.
