Q: Veendam Pinnacle Grill

I've just read that pp charge for Pinnacle is $30.

 

Can anyone tell me if the half price special, for dinner on the first night of your cruise is still offered?

I haven't seen it advertised in quite a while. A fellow cruiser on my roll call called HAL for this information and was told that the half price special is no longer available.

On our recent Caribbean cruise on the Veendam, there never seemed to be anybody there, perhaps the extra charge is not seen as a good value. Maybe they should store the art auction art there and get it out of the atrium!

I was on the Veendam a few weeks ago and there was no 1/2 price Pinnacle Grill. On our cruise, the Pinnacle wasn't full, but there were, I thought, quite a few people in there. As a matter of fact, I noticed one couple eating there every night at the same table.
