tipping?

I'll be on the Rhapsody of the Seas this coming December and I was wondering............. Is it best to tip the ship staff in Australian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars or US Dollars?

RCCL staff are paid in $US wherever they are, so thats probably what you should tip in. If they are going to be cruising down under for a while they might appreciate some local currency though.

 

The recommended amounts will be in $US so it might be easier for you to save trying to do currency conversions.

Thanks! I thought US dollars would be best. But, maybe, I'll leave them a little local currency as well for them to use while they are on shore.
