Barbados Yacht Racing Review

Just a quick post for those who might be interested in the yacht racing. We recently went on the 9 day NCL Pearl cruise. This was definitely the best excursion that we have been on during any of our (10) past Caribbean cruises. It was everything we had hoped it would be - an exciting, fast and furious sail led by the very engaging Captain Clint. We have done the America's Cup in St. Maarten twice but it pales in comparison to the excitement and fun that we experienced in Barbados. We will do it again the next time we are in Barbados!

We reserved through NCL, but some of the other guests booked direct. I will see if I can figure out how to post our pictures. Their website is http://www.oceanracingchallenge.com. One tip, wear running shoes or secured (not flip flops) walking sandals. The shore excursions desk told us we would have to remove our shoes which is only true if you are wearing flip flops or slip ons. You will find it even more enjoyable with proper footwear.
