Help! Info on how to plan/book a B2B on AOS

Recommended Posts

Help! We want to plan a B2B on Adventure. Aruba route and Barbados route. I'd like to have all of my ducks in row prior to calling RCCL.

1. Do you pay two deposits?

2. Do you have to pack if you stay in the same room?

3. Are you allowed to roam the ship after the other passangers leave?

4. Are there penalties if you have to cancel a leg of your B2B (different from the regular cancelation penalties)?

5. Anything else I'm missing?

I have read a few of the other B2B threads, but any info is greatly appreciated as well as any links!

Just did a b2b on the Jewel, but can answer some of your questions:

1. Do you pay two deposits?

Yes, it is like booking 2 cruises. So 1 deposit for 1 week, 1 for the other.

2. Do you have to pack if you stay in the same room?

No you do not, you are allowed to just leave everything on the turn around day. We didn't have to be out at 8 like people getting off, and we were told that we could go back to our rooms right away after getting on the ship.

3. Are you allowed to roam the ship after the other passangers leave?

Yes and No. We could do whatever we wanted until 10, when we had to meet in a lounge, leave the ship for about 10 minutes, get our new cards and come back on. What we did have to do is go to the pursers desk and give credit card info again, since they clear that info week by week.

4. Are there penalties if you have to cancel a leg of your B2B (different from the regular cancelation penalties)? Nope, again it is like booking 2 cruises, just linked in the computer, BUT BESURE TO CALL RCCL BACK TO BACK DESK SO THEY LINK THEM!

5. Anything else I'm missing? Have a great time! That second week is so nice!
