Anyone know what airlines Holland America use to Spain

I know it's early, but looking into summer 2009 for cruise out of Barcelona, Spain on the Oosterdam.

Wondering what airline Holland America books with. Will be flying out of Nashville, Tennessee.

When I called Holland they didn't know which Airlines they would be using yet. Also said it would be same day flight as boarding ship late afternoon. Is this possible? Same day fiight!!!

By same day, they mean same day arrival. You will fly out in the late afternoon/early evening the day before your cruise, and you will arrive mid to late morning the day of, depending where you have to connect and for how long. There are any number of airlines they can use, non-stop or connecting.

 

Once the airline booking window opens (usually 330 days prior), you should check some options on your own to see what kind of flights and for how much. And you really should be planning to get to Spain the day before the cruise at least, if not a couple days ahead. I would pay a little more to know I had a one-stop flight (Nashville to US hub city to Barcelona) instead of the likely possibility I will connect in the US , fly to the European gateway city for that airline, and then connect to Barcelona from there on cruiseline booked air.
