Christmas Day in San Juan???

We have booked a Christmas cruise and we will be in San Juan on Christmas day. I was just wondering if everything will be shut down? Has anyone been in this port on Christmas day in the past? What was your experience?

Unfortunately, everything will be closed, even the forts. It's probably a good day to take an organized tour, or go to the beach in Isla Verde (lots of posts about that beach, check 'em out). There might be some music in the plazas, and lots of people do visit OSJ for the holiday, especially kids trying out their new bikes :) . Some restaurants may be open, particularly the ones in hotels, and maybe a few stores that cater to tourists. Otherwise, you can just walk around OSJ.
